The 1st Golden Jury Film Festival is organized by Golden Jury Film Academy and will be held in Mumbai, India on December 2019. The aim of the Festival is to raise awareness and promote Indian and international cinema in all its forms as art, entertainment and as an industry, in a spirit of freedom and dialogue. The Festival will also organize Retrospectives and Tributes to iconic figures in Cinema as a contribution to a better understanding of the history of cinema.

GOLDEN JURY FILM FESTIVAL RULES & REGULATIONS 1. Films must be Feature films/Documentary films /Short features. 2. They must have been released/produced between 1st November 2017 and November 2019 (not released yet and in post-production films are also accepted in World/Asian/Indian premier status in main competition). The eligibility period will be determined by the Censorship visa/certificate of the country where the film has been produced/released. For not-yet-released films, censor or equal to censor certificate are not required. 3. Entries will be subject to preview by a committee constituted by the Festival Program Director. A film which is not accepted for the Competition Section can be shown in the Non-Competition Section. 4. The decisions of the jury will be taken by a simple majority of the members present and voting. The jury will evolve their own rules for assessment of the entries, based on certain basic guidelines. The Director of the Festival, the Nodal officer for Golden Jury and the Chairperson of the jury can attend the deliberations of the jury but shall neither participate nor vote. 5. No person in any way connected with the production or commercial exploitation of a competitive entry will be a member of the jury. 6. The Festival Director reserves the right to exclude films which are not in conformity with the aims of the Festival. 7. Films should be in 35mm/70mm/16 mm and Digital format (DCP with or without KDM), DVD/BluRay format or also online screener for selection purpose. 8. Entrants should apply to the Festival Director by 15th November 2019 about their participation, including the titles of films and the names and addresses of the directors, producers, production companies and world sales companies against each film titles. The Festival screener has to be compulsorily sent along with all this information.
